Best Voip Provider?

Featured Replies

Does anyone here use VoIP for business calls, and if so which provider do you use (RingCentral, Skype, etc) and why? What experiences have you had with this and other providers and what would you recommend? I'm about to rent a condo in Thailand and get a high-speed internet line set up, and I want a really good rock-solid VoIP service for work. Thanks guys! :)

Vonage. Not sure they sell their services here... brought my service & modem into LOS from the Colonies and just plugged it in. great features & service.

www.8x8.com. Been with them for years in the States and here in Thailand. Calls from/to Thailand and U.S. sound like you are talking to someone across the street. Check out their Annual payment plan to get a lower rate. Vonage works OK too. Had both Vonage and 8x8 for a few months when first coming to Thailand....the 8x8 call clarity and fewer call disconnects was clearly better than Vonage. Plus, with the 8x8 annual payment plan the total cost per month for unlimited minutes per month when including taxes was lower. Your experience may vary.

Vonage does a good job and has a very broad base of free countries. Including local Thai calls. I have no problems with dropped calls.

8x8 seems to have less countries and a higher price.

Skype has a good video service.
