Thai Sky Airline

Featured Replies

I read it several months ago a new low cost airline from Thailand called Thai Sky Airline will start flying from BKK to Hong Kong, Taiwan, China ect in July and August.

But still have not hear any progress about starting any of the service so far. Their website has disappeared as well. Do anyone know what happened to this new airline??

Their website is still active.

Their 30 year old Lockheed Tristars are pretty busy flying BKK-HKG, BKK-KUL, BKK-ICN(Incheon) and even HKG-TPE(Taipei).

I beleive they are mostly flying Asian holiday groups.

I'd be quite wary of these upstart Thai airlines with their vintage aircraft as certain other airlines have proven its next to impossible to get an airworthiness certificate revoked in Thailand.

Mai Pen Rai and air safety do not mix.
