Info On Taking Thai To Nz..

Featured Replies

Hi to all....sorry if this has been asked before , but i cant see it anywhere;

Has anyone taken their thai lady to NZ for working holiday and possibly to look at residencey later? I am NZ citizenand passport holder.

She is too old for 'working holiday visa' and Thailand is not on the 'visa waiver agreement'' .....Thats about all the info on visa that i know of.

We have been together more than 5 years and did visit NZ two years ago on holiday, so obviously she has some good 'history' with immigration there.

Someone told me that there is some sort of defacto/partner application whereby she can actually come and live and work with me in NZ.

Would much appreciate any first hand info on what is actually available to us.
