Uganda National Tr Visa Expires Today

I met a Ugandan national today whose 2 month TR visa expires today. If she presents at Nakhon Pathom immirgation tomorrow will she be able to extend the visa and pay a one day overstay or should she head for the border and get a new visa somewhere else? I understand in theory she could be arrested and placed in custody and deported etc but is this likely to happen on a one day overstay. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

It is not likely to happen on a one day overstay and an extension is normally provided but do not believe any visa would be available locally to African passport holder and this may also effect her chance for an extension of stay now that she is overstay so she should be prepared to immediately leave if it is not granted.

can be tricky to get a new visa, when I was in Laos, Africans had their own line for apply for visa!

but i guess thats why they pay more then the normal line heheh
