Posting Packages

hi all i wonder if someone could help me ,iwant to send a package to a village in issan and wondered if i should address it in roman or thai scipt. any help appreciated, also rouhly how long would it take to get there from uk.

In my experience it takes usually 3 to 4 weeks to send to a village but could take a life time :o

I usually put both in Thai and English but writing the main address in Thai script with the word "Thailand" in English (give our posties a clue to which country) is OK.

I use Thai script with "Thailand" in English as mrbojangles says when sending to my wife's small village in Phatthalung. It takes 10-14 days for packages to arrive from USA. I recently sent a package to Bangkok using roman script and it was received in less than a week! For the villages, I am concerned that the local postal workers will have difficulty with the roman script.

Yep, I'm with the others, three lines of heiroglyphics with 'Thailand' in English at the bottom.

Works every time :o

Don't forget to fill in a customs declaration form.

Takes between 3 days to 1 month to Pathum Thani so to a village add a week or so.
