Amazing How Some Airline Websites Aren'T Fully Functional For Booking

Featured Replies

Trying to check flights HKT-LAX and on Asiana the only option that I've seen when first choosing "from" Se Asia the only "to" is to Korea, no other options. On SQ ( with their partner Silkair) on their Thailand homepage, the only departing option is BKK, and not HKT. However travel agents can easily book either one of these trips either via Asiana or SQ, yet these airlines themselves don't seem to allow this for whatever strange reason. Funny thing for SQ, you can book from outside of Thailand and book to Phuket.

Amazing also on SQ is that booking on the default dates of 31/1 and returning 7/2 shows a fare of $1138 R/T LAX-BKK ( about 35K baht) and the flight BKK-LAX is 55K baht.

For SQ: I just changed the date from 31/01 to 30/01, and Phuket is suddenly shown in the departure cities.

Asiana: I use Firefox, and can't even see any departure cities or destinations (at least I presume that is the reason, don't feel like opening Explorer to check).

That flyasiana page takes a long time to load. Interesting you can get Phuket as a departure option from the Thailand home page which displays their promotional prices in baht as I too use firefox and can't get Phuket as a departure date for any dates entered, even after clearing cookies and starting over.

Right now I can't even get their Thailand page anymore, it seems to be stuck on the Netherlands.
