. "This Friday, January 28, a barrage of "animals" will converge on Bangkok's Parliament House with an important message: Animals deserve to be legally protected from the worst abuses—pass the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Animal Welfare Bill now! For 12 long years, dedicated local activists have fought to secure legislation to prevent cruelty to animals and promote animal welfare in Thailand. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Animal Welfare Bill has finally made its way to the final stage of the legislative process. The final step for the bill is to be submitted to Parliament for consideration, but it's currently held up at the Cabinet Secretariat. The current term of the government will end in a week's time, and if the bill is not passed by the end of the term, the whole lengthy approval process will have to start again. The bill, if passed, will criminalise the abuse of animals and mandate welfare requirements for animals used in various industries. You can help! Volunteers are needed to attend Friday's protest and hold signs. The event will be held at 12 noon. If you're interested in participating in this fun and eye-catching protest, please e-mail Agnes Tam at [email protected] for more information. Thank you for all that you do for animals! Sincerely, The PETA Team"

And I wish you and all your team the best of luck.

Even if these laws are passed do you honestly believe that they will be enforced?

PETA is an organization created and supported by rich kids and second class celebrities to fight the boredom of their useless existence while thousands of kids die of starvation everyday.

Just look at the pets these people usually have, designer dogs and cats so inbred that they are a genetic disaster. Would they adopt one of these street dogs that are put to sleep everyday ? Peewww, are you joking, dear ?
