Staying Online - True Asdl

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I was wondering if someone could help me. I have a True ASDL internet connection at home and have been doing quite a bit of downloading using DC++ and BitTorrent recently.

However, I would like to be able to always stay connected until I logoff. My wife and I are using Windows XP Home, and when my wife switches user accounts (does NOT log me off) to access her files, settings, etc., it disconnects my connection thus halting any downloads currently in progress.

Is there any way to for more than one user to remain online constantly? Is this possible with True ASDL?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Yes, Buy a router, and use the router as the client.

configure the connection as an always on, for her user acc aswell ? :o
