We have visited the place and are not realy impressed. to be fair not impressed by the lay-out (no shade areas we could notice) The reception ordinairy......we have asked close friends about their childrens experience. we both receieve very positive as equel negative comments. The point is this........ does any Thaivisa member/guest knows any other likewise recommended schools in a range of say 25 km. that includes Vientiane Laos. Anyone has experience with foreign children study in vientiane? visas or other related suggestions would be very apriciated. Goinghomesoon Posted January 30, 2011 Share Posted January 30, 2011 Friends had their half Lao-half farang kids at the International School in Vientiane (VIS) and were pleased with the primary school level. They were less happy with high school and moved their high-schooler to boarding school in Thailand. Eastern Star Bilingual has a new campus but I don't know much about the teaching standards. For Asean....State of the Art school. had a chat with some people who had their children attending school there. fee all in around 400.000 a year a couple of people pendling up and down with their children from NongKhai to Vientaine. as for us we made up our mind...... thanks everybody for your respected comments Fam.Hgma They also have ballet classes at VIS after school (you asked about classes around Nong Khai in a different post).
