September 3, 200520 yr Got myself one of those fancy windows mobile smartphones the other week It has a wifi adaptor built in I can connect to my home wifi easily enough (with WEP security) Problem is the office uses MAC address filtering, which needs the physical address of the wifi card in my phone It must have one but I can figure out a way to find out what it is! Anybody have any ideas how to display the MAC address so I can enter it onto the network? Ian
September 3, 200520 yr Download advanced ipscanner onto your homePC, and do a scan while your smartphone is connected wireless. It's ip adress should show up, including it's MAC address... http://www.radmin.com/products/utilities/ipscanner.php
