Crossy Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 I'm currently in sunny India, a work colleague (Indian) has got a taste for Hazelnuts but they seem to be totally unavailable here. Anybody seen them in Thailand (BKK) in plain and / or salted versions? He's done me a few favours so bringing him some next trip would go down well. "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
jfchandler Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Crossy, see midway down the page... http://www.heritagethailand.com/commodity.php?id=nutsSeeds These guys are the wholesalers who supply the markets like Emporium and Paragon... They have a display room in BKK, but I've never asked them if you can buy directly from them...
sunholidaysun1 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Villa market has them. Half Kg for about 300 bht. Wonderful , as if they were fresh out of the nut-case. Little bit pricey but what the hell, what a luxury here to have.
