Of course. People are people, love is not gender specific. Parental love, brotherly love, love of family are same sex based as almost as often as opposite sex love.

Romantic love is what I think is your question. Emphatically yes.

I am involved in a three year same-sex love relationship that knows no bounds, the most rewarding love based relationship I have ever experienced. Literature going back over 2000 years relates many great same-sex romatic loves.

More interesting is why you question its existence. Are you flamming?

Really like your avatar. Welcome.

We need to know more about you and why you asked a question that most gays would answer with a resounding yes, without equivocation.

On the contrary, PTP, I think it's a very valid question, especially for many who are new to the scene. A lot of guys with romance in their hearts start going out to bars and meet people who only want to have sex or one-night stands- or before they understand how to read people they start dating men who have other boyfriends or fool around.

I'd say with the transient nature of most foreign gays here (tourists, short-time expats, etc.) and also considering the limited supply, they are looked at as particularly flighty.

So it might be a real concern here, especially for Thais who like farang.

But as you say, the answer is YES! You just have to learn how to look and find the right people.

Interesting question. Of course there is such a thing as gay love and it isn't any different from any other type of love. As one poster noted, love is not gender specific.

The biggest problem for many gays is in maintaining anything resembling a monogomous relationship (if that is what they want). Men (gay and hetero) are notorious at playing around. This is then doubled in a gay relationship.

It's not so much about love, but about defining a relationship that works for two people and is acceptable--preferably with some special understanding about the fallability of man.

Thank you for all above opinions.
