craigt3365
I have that single wire antenna plugged into the back of my receiver, the one that came with it, but the reception is really poor. I went to PowerBuy and saw these rabbit ear devices for about 300B that they advertise as helping to boost your reception. Has anyone ever tried one of these? They say they are for TV/FM/AM. But look a bit dodgy to me. I guess my other alternative is to custom make an antenna and snake it up into the roof for better reception? I don't really want an outside antenna due to lightning. Any help would be appreciated!
astral
1. Is it worth listening to FM? 2. At the FM frequencies an aerial in the roof is possibility, if you have a house, thus eliminating the lightning risk.
craigt3365
Wifey likes listening to the radio....and the maid/gardener also love it when they are working here. I put 6 speakers outside, so music everywhere! But jazz doesn't go over as well with them.. I think the antenna inside the roof is the way to go. Have to figure out how to get it setup now!
