I'd suggest more oil and gas power stations and distributed container genny units, and less reliance on power that goes off on cloudy days. Back in 2000 they had the container genny all over cornwall, turned themselves on whenever there was a voltage drop, would run for an hour, then turn themselves off, sounded like jet engines. -
