Bizarre case of a man who forgot his key to his room and finished up electrocuting himself.

We attended the Pattaya Memorial Hospital late on Tuesday Night after medical staff reported admitting a man who had suffered a severe electric shock. The bizarre chain-of-events leading to the shock was explained to us by the victim himself, Khun Soo aged 19. He works at the Gecko Lighting Center on the North Pattaya Road and lives on the 1st floor. On this particular night he had forgotten his key and decided to climb a nearby electric pylon so he could enter the premise through a 1st floor window. As he climbed the pylon he was seemingly unaware, even though he works with electricity every day, that the pylon carried live electric cables. He grabbed one of the cables to get his balance and received a shock and fell to the ground. He sustained burns to his left arm and leg and according to doctors, he is lucky to be alive.
