boney
Hi, I have an I phone 4, brought in Thailand. I use DTAC. DTAC do not use 3G, AIS do, you have to make sure you have an GSM advance sim card as I believe 12call do not cover 3G. You will have to go to the AIS Telewiz shop and ask them. I use AIS Advance for my home router from AIS. The problem is there are only certain area's that are covered with 3G. Again ask AIS. You can go to any operator, AIS, depending who you are with and they will give you a mini sim, for free for the iphone 4. Once you have your 3G mini sim, you also must ensure that 3G is enabled on your iphone 4. Settings-General-Network-enable 3G. Basically, go to to AIS and ask them the questions you asked here and they will help you out. Take an interpreter with you if want to be sure your getting answered correct. Hope this helps a bit, Edited February 17, 2011 by boney
boney
Yes you should be able to keep your old number, they can cut the sim to fit also. depends on who does it. Thats encouraging about the upgrades to the network here. We will see. I am not optimistic. Good luck
