Pool Decking

Featured Replies

For many years after opening up The Pool Doctors, I have been frustrated by the lack of available materials in Thailand for pool decks, and pool decking systems. In 90% of all new pool builds, the pool deck is either gravel wash, or tile. Granite is also available, but generally high cost prevents widespread usage. All have shortfalls including staining, breaking, cracking, settling, heat retention, etc., not to mention simply unappealing visually.

I am pleased to let everybody here know that we have spent the last 3 months training locally in Thailand with an Australian company http://www.adelaide-...-polishing.com/ who are specialized in installing polished concrete and general concrete floor restoration. We are rolling out a new division "Floor Tech" which will offer our pool customers a much wider range of choices for their pool deck. We can also repair, renovate and re-seal gravel wash pool decks to prevent staining, black fungus, algae, water retention, etc. To the best of our knowledge, we are part of only a handful of companies doing polished concrete in Thailand. Its important to note that polished concrete is also an excellent non-slip solution for walkways, interior lobby areas, showrooms, etc. If anybody is interested to know more, simply email us at anytime.

Thank you,

Gil
