Lost in LOS
I have toast titanium 10 to write dvds. I am trying to write some youtube dvds to play on my dvd recorder. I cannot make it work, the downloaded youtube videos are mpg4 or flv. I have recorded dvds using one or the other and my player doesnt recognize them. I have tried the music option, the movie option, dvd video option, music dvd, mp3 option [there is no mp4], data for mac and pc, but my player wont recognize any of them. it pays dvds just fine and can play mpt, mp3, cd, dvd, vcd. anyone know what I am doing wrong? puuchai299
Not 100 percent sure but it may be you have to Convert the video format of the downloaded files from youtube to a different format before writing to Dvd.

Isnt mp4 a standard format that works. my cd player says it works but i am not sure how to get these mp4's onto a dvd that will play in my player. it does both dvd, mp4 I have already burned up about 12 disks trying different options. On my windows all I did was slide the file onto a disc and it did everything for me It doesnt have to be using toast but a way to do it with the mac. Lost in LOS
After one and a half hours on google and then youtube I found someone who recomended a free program called burn. downloaded it, it converted mp4 to mpeg-2 and burned the disc. worked like a charm
