Hi all,, Just to update on a Successful Non Imm O multi entry visa application at KL this Afternoon based on Thai Spouse – booked flights for myself and the wife online via Airasia return flight at 6,085 THB per person, arrived at KL international Airport, took the aero Bus to KL Central costing 8 ringit per person (approx 20 minute bus journey), from there took the LRT to Ampang Park at 2 ringit per person (5 minute journey), exited into Ampang Park Station, had a 5 minute walk to the Somerset Jalan Ampang 187 Apartment passing the UK consul situated just next door to the apartments, we had prebooked into the Somerset apartments via agoda website at 2400 baht per night incl breakfast, nice apartment with bedroom, TV lounge/dining area, Walk in Wardrobe, Kitchen with fridge/Washer dryer, microwave, cooker etc. breakfast was a bit of a disappointment although there’s a Macdonalds and a couple of Resteraunt nearby. The Thai Embassy is situated only about 400mtr along the road from the Somerset apartments, arrived at the thai consul at 0830 YESTERDAY MORNING, 4 people queued in front of me, we were allowed inside gates just after 9am, waited a further 30 minutes inside before the consular office opened at 0930am by this time about 25 people had queued behind me, allocated my numbers and called to the desk within 3 minutes, presented the following documents: completed application form (downloaded from embassy website), Passport and copy, copy of wife’s Thai ID, Original marriage certificate and copy (original was checked and returned ) Copy wife’s Tabien Baan, Bank statement dated 1 week before, along with copy of bank book updated 2 days before showing over 100k in account, letter from wife requesting they issue multi entry non Imm o visa for me, 1 x passport sized photo, and fee of 550 ringit, all copies signed. documents were checked and was issued a reciept of payment, stating to return for collection at 2.30pm next afternoon. walked back to the Somerset arriving back at the apartment before 10am.

2.25pm this afternoon left apartment to collect passport, arriving at consul just as they opened the gates at 2.30pm, around 15 people in front of me, PRESENTED MY RECIEPT AND NUMBER ISSUED THE DAY BEFORE AND PRESENTED with my new non imm O multi entry visa, FINISHED AND outside the embassy ALL within 10 minutes,,all in all a pleasant experience.

I am Unsure of the proximity of any of the other stations on the LRT line to the embassy, but from anyone staying at other parts of the city the AMpang Park LRT station is reasonably close to the UK and french consuls (around 5 minutes walk) and maybe only around a 10 minute walk to the Thai consul.
