Most Russian couples I have seen (20-30'ish) are HOT. I am glad it was them instead of a fat retired farang with his "one night only" girlfriend, or ????. If people didn't like it, they should have just turned their heads or ignored it just like one can do when seeing an accident or surfing through their satellite TV channels. Russian couples I see are very romantic..always holding hands, kissing, being sweet to each other. This doesn't bother me one bit. How can critics on this topic think this is awful; meanwhile accept the trash that goes on in the Pattaya sois and Walking Street that has nothing to do with a romantic couple in love.???????????? The russians that I meet are both rude and overbearing, that is in there own environment. I keep clear when I am home in Thailand as they are even more obnoxious when drunk. Ok, the guys have escaped from dam_n frosty moscow, to have fun, relax, enjoy their holiday, to bring back home good memories. And what they got? A humiliating sleezy story in newspapers? Land of 1000 types of smiles? These PTT yellow papers have obviously nothing to write. They do not often write about real hard stuff like paedofilic child brothels, porn (illegal in thai), child porn, drug and gun dealing, moronic and dangerous tuk-tuk drivers and some of taxis too, drugged and robbed guys in hotels spent with second hand hookers, constant pcases of rip-offs in bars, restaurants, jet-skies, motorbike rents. It's a double standard policy - thai is always right, farang not and has to pay even if he's right. After living in here for 3 years, i noticed incredible hipocrisy and lies among local people. I even can trust chinese person more. Why these yellow PTT press adores publishing such stupid humiliating stories where farangs are shown as dumb asses? If thai society will go on pointing a finger on each farang who is behaving in his cultural tradition - then who will be bringing thais their beloved crispy greenbacks? But unfortunately thais don't get it, they live only on 'one day' basis and don't think of tomorrow. Back to those russians - i don't think 2k baht will ruin their budget, but the impression will stay. On koh phangan, samui, tao people are having sex on the beaches and noone cares, only PTT positions itself as the only exceptional moralistic city - but in fact being a true Sodom and Homorrah. Lately it has been stories about someone getting waylaid by a Kathoey, or an old Scandanavian being arrested for kiddie diddling or a chav getting nicked for brawling. It's sort of a nice change from those stories. It's Pattaya, Thailand's open sewer. Of course one is going to see chunks of poo floating about. Posters who claim Pattaya a family destination and are offended, should keep in mind that children are not allowed around the beach at this time of the day. Neither a "huge" crowd ! I bet the couple thought the nightfall would cover their act , but obviously the crowds are gathering quickly when they sniff action.
