PATTAYA: -- Police were called to a popular restaurant located on the Thappraya Road in Jomtien in the early hours of Saturday by their security guard who claimed he was threatened with a gun by a man claiming to be a Police Officer. Officers, including members of the Pattaya SWAT Team arrived and detained Commander Yattana aged 43, an officer from the Royal Thai Navy.

They could have drove him home. I am curious to see if this story with photo's makes it's way to the Thai media. I wonder what kind of reprecussions he faces(if any) from his superiors?

I thought there was a fair amount of tension between the Navy and the police.
