China Easter Air Bkk - Shanghai

Featured Replies

does anyone know if China Eastern Air does online check-in for international flights at all please? Can't seem to find it on their site.

I just flew them to Shanghai and back to Bangkok and I didn't see any way to check in online. When returning from Shanghai you may want to make sure to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight. Yesterday in Shanghai China Eastern was checking in all of their flights from one line and it was extremely long. I arrived 1:45 minutes before my flight with no bags to check and just barely made the flight.

No, I flew them to the USA via Shanghai 4 months ago. Check-in at BKK was handled by Thai Airways personnel in Thai Airways uniforms, They were very polite and efficient. I had read some terrible things about this airline, but my 4 flights to the USA and back were extremely pleasant.

The planes they used for BKK-Shanghai were old Airbus A-300 models, very dingy and ugly on the inside, but everything worked and the flight attendants were very polite and efficient. Their price was well below any other airline, but service was better than any American or European carrier I've been on.
