I still think that LIVE eggs is bogus sine the canning process will kill worms eggs etc. So, if one buys from a reputable packer, then no worries. I agree it is better to buy from places like Norway, if you are willing to pay a lot more and if you can find a good source. Why not buy from a Taiwan company, if you are worried? I just will not buy online, and I agree with you. Also, I do not like the quality of the larger fish, as I stated before, and so we agree on that. Still, there might be a happy medium, for a mid-range price of quality canned fish. I have no problem with canned Tuna from a major local retailer, which is a private label product, of course. I would not buy the canned stuff coming out of China. If you can copy the link to the report you reference, then I might change my tune, and one should always provide proper attribution for such resources one quotes here, anyway. Otherwise, this is just the spreading of FUD, as you well know. So, check the source, and ALSO check the veracity of the source, is the best policy.
