I have recently had an ADSL connection installed with TOT.

98% of the time I get "page cannot be displayed..blah blah or I have to hit the refresh button a couple of times before the page I requested appears.

Is this TOT or do I need to adjust some settings somewhere?

Previously, I was on dial up which was slow but this isn't much of an approvement

Any advice/suggestions on how/what to do?

Sounds like a "DNS" Problem ....

just add static nameservers in your network-settings ...

klick on the device used for the router/modem ..

klick on TCP/IP .. and change at from "Obtain DNS-Servers by dhcp" to manual ..

and type in some nameservers

best choice is .. one n thailand and one as backup somewhere ..

thailand: 203.144.255.71

europe: 212.227.64.210

and so on ;-)
