No luck. Can not get personal income tax done or paid.

Please, sbk or someone who has actually done this, can you post more info?

ภาษีเงินได้ abbreviated to ภ.ง.ด. is not specifically personal income tax I don't think as everyone else in the place we went was doing caompany or business tax, so this was no help at all unfortunately.

There are many many forms with this ภ.ง.ด on them. Do we need the red one, blue one or green one? Are any of these actually for PERSONAL income tax at all?

The place where we were had these 3 different coloured forms, with headings ภ.ง.ด. 90, ภ.ง.ด.91, ภ.ง.ด.94 etc.

What is the threshold at which you have to pay income tax?

We can't even get this information anywhere, not for this year, only for 2006, and that is no longer the case as it has obviously gone up, as hubby makes that amount but they said he doesn't have to pay, so we don't need any forms, so they make us leave.

Please anyone with any information, or even better, a copy of what the recepit looks like and the form you have to fill out to get it, please post it here, please.

It is not only annoying but pretty humilliating to keep going back to the same office and just get treated like you are a complete idiot.

I think they genuinely want to help us, but we can't tell them what we need in thai, as they just don't get what we are talking about. We have tried everything, including "can he just pay the minimum", but get a resounding "NO" in reply.
