I've reinstalled windows media player a couple of times. Do you know how to uninstall it. Its not in add/remove programs. I read somewhere that its nearly impossible. Using XP cuerrnely using Opera but the same thing was happening with Firefox.

Dumb question, does it happen with Internet Explorer??

It could be that the required plug-in is not available for / compatible with Opera or Firefox.

Post a sample URL, I have Opera so can test for you.

Jockstar just pm'd me a URL.

It works for me in both IE and Opera.

The problem is definately at your end, not sure where this gets us though :o

Does other content using Media player work? It could be a missing codec.

I've got the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack installed, 25Meg download :D

If that doesn't fix it, who knows :D  :D

Hasnt helped. :o

D@mn!!!

This is weird, the only other video related stuff I've got installed is DivX and PowerDVD, DivX may help but apart from that, my brain is dry (and it's too early for a Chang).

Anybody else out there got any ideas???
