Does anyone know if there is a place in Bangkok offering training in Hapkido ? For those of you who dont know it....a korean martial art which is like a combination of karate, ju-jitsu, tae kwondo, judo etc etc. ???

I believe there is a place on Soi Asoke near Sukumvit Road that may offer what you're looking for. It's called SMAC and they teach several different martial arts. The Bangkok Fight Club may also offer Hapkido as they also feature several martial arts including knife fighting. However, unlike Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido isn't so popular over here as it is in my home country (USA), so finding an instructor may be a bit trying. I do Muay Thai myself and of course there are loads of places that teach this very effective and brutal fighting system (simple to learn/remember too). Have you tried it? You can try for a search on Google (Thailand Google) and see if there are any schools in your area. You may end up finding just one or two instructors who work out of different schools like the ones mentioned above rather than an entire school dedicated to Hapkido. I hope you're successful in your quest!

I did a search for a school offering training for Aikido and found a couple. Try what Thaiboxer said and do a Google search. Thats what I did to find Aikido so maybe you'll get lucky. Let me know if you find any. Maybe i'll try Hapkido too.
