Curt
I've only been in the lobby. It seems like a nice place. It's not the newest property; it definitely has the classic Bangkok "feel". You might try posting on the travel board.

Some friends from Australia stayed there for a week about 2 years ago and we met them at the Indra several times . The rooms are quite comfortable and service standards very good. I would probably classify the Indra as a better than average 4 star hotel.
