Moccona Select (Jar) Coffee And Moccona Trio 3-In-1

Featured Replies

Just wondering, saw the jars of Moccona Select instant coffee (no sugar or cream added), but have drank (and liked) the red packaged Trio "Aktiv" 3-in-1s. There are also a black colored bag and a green colored, forget the titles but all moccona.

Just wondering which one does the jar of Moccona Select taste most like? I could go out and buy one, but I've done these taste tests before (with other coffee brands) and failed miserably as I found the jar tasted nothing like the 3-in-1 packs and ended up throwing it away. Thanks for any help.

Can't help you with your question, but for what it's worth I used to always buy the green Moccona instant before I bought an espresso machine. Decent taste for being instant, beats the other instant types I tried.

Normal Moccona Select has a bit of coco in it and very good instant coffee for the price. Have never had the mix so can't compare. Bought Select for over 30 years until switch to German made Nescafe Gold

Alright meadish, I'll take that as a suggestion to give the green espresso a try. Next time I make it into a shop with single packs, I'll have a look.

Hmmm, I like the sound of Select (jar) having a bit of coco in it. I had thought that the "Aktiv" 3-in-1 had a mocha taste to it, which is why I like it, so sounds like the jar could be similar in taste. I might have to get a jar.
