The Pelicot Rape
I am French and so I have been distantly following this case as it showed up regularly in my news feeds. It's the story of a bunch of severely twisted people, as there always have been and always will be. But the French media and politicians are trying to turn it into some kind of feminist, societal and civilisational cause by implying that it happened because of "patriarchy" and all that BS (which basically implies that any guy in France could have ended up doing that twisted stuff because society allows it… when it really was just 50 deranged guys meeting on obscure forums to do deranged stuff). -

Deterioration of Dining Quality and Experience
Several breakfasts in Dusit Thani Hua Hin last January where good and no empty plates. I haven't eaten at Burger King for decades, so can't compare and don't know the other establishments you are referring too. Most restaurants in BKK I am going to have same quality as before. -

5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
My DTV visa was approved through Phnom Penh a couple of hours ago. Applied as soon as I arrived late on 18/12/2024. Next morning I got a request for more information but it was just proof of my entry into Cambodia. Stayed on pending approval until I got the email saying it was approved. I applied under soft powers - had a letter from the medical centre listing my chronic disease and skin cancer history and noted that 3-6 month followups were required. It was accompanied with two appointment slips for the dermatologist and endocrinologist within a month of when I plan to re-enter Thailand. I provided one month bank statement that is a multi-currency account from Hong Kong and lists my Thai address. -

Stabbing Incident in Pattaya Leaves Japanese Tourist Dead; British-Thai Suspect Caught At approximately 06:05 on December 29, on Pattaya Third Road, a violent altercation resulted in the fatal stabbing of a 27- year-old Japanese man, identified as Mr. Seita Tanabe.
