Reliable Internet Around Pattaya?

Featured Replies

My current provider is a huge pile of crap(cyberpoint). Works about half the time or less. Downloading big files or watching youtube vids is pretty much useless. I keep losing my temper and getting furious about it and it's threatening my mental health.

Since I rent an apartment, setting up a line is out of the question. I'd like to know what the best isp in Pattaya is so I can keep it in mind on my next lease.

I know internet in Thailand is a joke, but I'd prefer to have something a little better than the garbage I currently have.

Why are you inquiring about ISPs if you insist that you are unable to set a line up at your place? Are you using Cyberpoint Wifi?

Perhaps you can consider mobile Internet? TRUE have 3G in Pattaya. Speeds are variable, mainly slow. But you can get the job done.

There are numerous threads with the relevant info.

Picking a good ISP in Pattaya, possibly in all of Thailand, seems to be complete luck. Regardless of which ISP is discussed there are people who insist they are great and others who insist they suck. Some areas are only serviced by a single ISP, other places you may have several options. Your best chance is to make sure the property you're interested in has the option of as many ISP's as possible so you have the choice to change ISP if your first choice doesn't work for you.

(The OP wanted to know "..so I can keep it in mind on my next lease").

I should have added "as the recommendation could be useless/obsolete by the time of your next lease".
