Hi all,

How does a Thai citizen in the UK go about getting a Schengen visa ?

Do they have to go to the embassy to apply?

My wife has ILR and would like to go to Spain.

I read that you must go to the first/most time spent there country which will be Spain but I read on here that it wasn't the case that you had to travel to te embassy, in this case the Spanish Embassy in London.

Also, when taking your translated copy of the marriage certificate does it have to be certified translated by the Thai ministry? I don't believe ours is.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
