News_Editor Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Suicide blast against Pakistani police residence kills 2 2011-04-08 07:06:32 GMT+7 (ICT) QUETTA, PAKISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- At least two people were killed and several others injured after a suicide blast targeted the house of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Investigations Wazir Nasir Khan in Quetta, Pakistan, local authorities said Thursday. Local police told Pakistan's Express Tribune that at around 8 a.m. local time, the suicide bomber riding an explosive-filled vehicle entered a residential area that houses several police officers and crashed into Khan's house. The explosion killed one police constable who was standing at the gate. In addition, nine others were injured, including DIG Khan and several children. Emergency teams transported Khan and the injured to Civil Hospital Quetta, where at least two people were reported to be in serious condition. -- © BNO News All rights reserved 2011-04-08
