NancyL Posted April 10, 2011 Share Posted April 10, 2011 (edited) April's "Informal" Expats Ladies Lunch Date: Thursday, April 21 Place: The lunch buffet at the Grandview Hotel, on the Superhighway, about 500 meters north of Huey Kaew Rd. The Superhighway is the road that becomes Nimmanheiman once it crosses Huey Kaew. Menu: a vast buffet with Thai, western, Italian, Japanese and sometimes Vietnamese selections with an excellent selection of desserts. All in an elegantly casual setting. Time: plan to arrive at 11:45 to miss the noon rush at the buffet line. Later arrival is fine, but we'll start without you! Cost: 160 baht. Cost includes water, coffee and tea and a modest tip. For reservations contact Nancy Lindley at //removed - use PM// About the Expats Ladies Luncheon group: We're one of the many Outside Group Activities of the Chiang Mai Expats Club. You don't have to be a member of that club to come to the Ladies Luncheon. Many of us live in Chiang Mai for several months of the year; some of us are full-time residents. Others are visiting for a just short time or considering re-location here. We welcome new members. We do not have an agenda or programs, aside from our luncheon, twice monthly on the first and third Thursdays. Our goal is for women to get acquainted, make new friends and have questions answered.
