protect yourself :o

However do they find the time to do it ? :o

Most mail virii are VBS scripts (Sober.C isn't though) and very easy to do thats why we get so many 'cos the monkeys are everywhere.

TIP.

Most people don't need to manualy execute VBS scripts so.......

Start\Settings\Control panel\folder options.

Select "File Types" Page.

Find VBS under Registered file types.

Select VBS and click on the advanced "advanced" button.

Make sure "Always show extension is checked and set "Edit" as the default.

Now when you get a VBS virus and accidentally clicked on it it will open it for editing in notepad instead of trashing your system!.

ADITIONALLY.

Don't use Outlook and the virri cannot get your e-mail addresses. I personally use Opera. Don't you just love Microsoft!
