Rti Screen For Thai Xc90

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a Volvo XC90 (Thai spec) with the Road Traffic Information (RTI) option fitted. I'm considering fitting this option when I order the car but the price is 110,000 Baht. I like the tidy look of this system as the servo driven display sinks down into the dashboard when not in use. This option wasn't fitted to any of the cars cars in the showrooms I visited so I couldn't check out the ergonomics of the system. If it isn't user friendly then I would consider alternatives, Have seen an Alpine system but I don't know if it's available in Thailand.

If anyone who has this would give their experience of the system it would be apreciated

OK. No-one seems to have any experience with the subject. I thought someone, somewhere would have seen one but never mind.

For Informatiion: Since my post, Volvo Thailand have e-mailed a short video which describes the highlights of the system and I'm impressed. It's far better than anything else I've seen in Thailand (so far). In operation it reminds me very much of the system in Acura's MDX. One of which I had a few years ago and I was impressed by that also. So question answered, I'm getting the XC90 with this option.
