News_Editor Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 Suicide bomber attacks West Java mosque, several injured 2011-04-15 14:01:17 GMT+7 (ICT) JAKARTA (BNO NEWS) -- A suspected suicide bomber attacked a mosque inside a police station in West Java on early Friday afternoon, local media reported, injuring more than a dozen people. The Jakarta Globe and other media reported that the attack happened at around 12.35 p.m. local time in a mosque at the police headquarters building in Cirebon, a port city on the north coast of the Indonesian island of Java. It happened during Friday prayers. The Kompas and Bisnis newspapers reported that the bomber was killed in the attack, while around 15 people were injured. Some of them were believed to be seriously injured, Bisnis reported.
