Legalize gambling. lol, do you guys have any frigin idea what is going to happen to the people????? They are poor now, so why make them even more poorer and bankrupt many of their homes and their property????? If this happens Thailand will be known as one heck of a poor country to live in and whoa to us expats, we will be the ones that the Thai people will be looking at us like it is a Xmas tree.

If you don't believe me, take a look at Las Vegas. Who got the dough, the people or the Casinos????? I have been to Las Vegas several times and heck I have seen people come in with smiles and leave crying totally broke and some have even lost everything they ever had own. I myself avoid Las Vegas like it was the plague!!!!!!!!!! It is so pathetic when one gambles. It is very hookable and once you are hooked to gamble it is very hard to break out of the habit. Worse than trying to quit smoking. I have seen families completely destroyed from gambling. I went down with 20 dollars of nickels and came home with just a buck left. I budget for some fun, but when that is gone, adios, I am done playing.

The casinos make it so the house wins 85 percent of the time. Understand. Never less than that figure.

So now you got some Thai, who makes what like 20K baht a month, with a family to take care of and presto, now goes out gambling in the hopes of getting the big one take, and comes home broke. Does this every month or even worse now starts getting credit to gamble somemore then next putting up the car or home as collateral for more money and then what. See my point. So who pays for the pain and suffering for the family of the victim being the gambler?????? How about the PM putting up insurance for gambling addiction????? >>>> out of his own pocket? At least this insurance will cover the debts, the treatment to overcome gambling and the Doctors for the care given. Yes, perhaps the PM himself should be wise to fork over his money and provide the insurance for the public.

So why the double take from the PM himself. First he wants to legalize it in Thailand, then tells his followers not to cross the border to gamble yet wants money in his pocket????? This is insane.

I stand by my prediction. I will let time be the judge of facts.
