Hi,

I need few meters of vinyl or any material used to make motorbikes or car seats.

Do you know if it's possible to buy this vinyl by the meter at seats or sofa repair shops ? (any address ? in Pattaya or Bkk ?)

If they don't want to sell it by meter where else could i buy this material ?

Vinyl is available all over Pattaya. Try up and down Thepprasit Road...or on Suk. Look for a shop that is doing car seats. They just did the cushions for my friends on their outdoor couch. Looks great and was really cheap. I'm sure they will sell you just the material also...but bargain hard!

I know one shop along Thepprasit Road between Tesco and the Outlet Village. It's on the South side of Thepprasit.

You might also check the boat shops. They use a very thick waterproof vinyl that last in the sun and the rain...

There is one upholsterer on Sukhumvit just south of Makro - cant miss it loads of seats n foam n stuff all over the footpath!!

I went to the sofa shop near the end of THEPRASIT ROAD, very friendly guy, and only 100 thb for 1m of black vinyl.

If you want to refurbish your sofa it costs 2500 and you can order one new one for 7500, not so cheap but they use only good quality material, not lotus kind.
