Advice Needed: Thai Vps

Featured Replies

Hi,

The title says it all.. But in case ... I am looking for a "not too bad" VPS provider

  • DC in Thailand (99.9% of visitors are in Thailand)
  • Un-managed is preferred
  • Offering more than only CentOS
  • And of course, able to answer with a minimum of English

If ever you have any advice of even recommendation, I'll be thankful :jap:

You do not want a thai vps. I have tried 3 different providers in the past including the same one that hosts sanook.com. You said you are looking for minimal english which would imply you want a managed host. Tech support is terrible and you will be nickled and dimed for services.

If your concern is being geographically close to Thailand, then I would recommend singapore. Fantastic support. I have a VPS with Vodien.com . Go open a support ticket with them and they respond in seconds, 24/7 even during songkranlaugh.gif

With the kind of price they display, they CAN respond 24/7

And my concern is not to be close to Thailand, but for some nationalistic reasons (not mines) to be IN Thailand.

Thanks anyway.

also, anyone trying to access the server from outside Thailand will have a terrible experience. Just FYI.
