My 90 day report date for immigration is on 30 April a Saturday. Do I have to report by Friday or could it be Monday instead?

I can confirm this too. Was told the same when I was at Immigration 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will go next week then and hope they don't say they just changed the rules and try to hit me with a fine. Does immigration have the rules posted somewhere on the internet to make a copy of just in case?

Being that the rule is new, I doubt it's posted on-line. I would not worry about it. If you are due on Saturday and go on Monday or Tuesday, you won't have a problem. For a government agency they are most pleasant there.

Depending on where you report some are open Saturday and if a border crossing on Sunday too.
