I will be arriving CM late May and want to improve my Thai - I am not a rank beginner, but am far from proficient. From experience learning other languages, I do better with 1 on 1 instruction, and would like the flexibility to choose my own curriculum, as opposed to what the school/teacher proposes. Any suggestions based on experience? Cost? Thanks for all feedback.

For anyone living in Wongamat Beach, there's a new open mall being constructed across the street from the Centara Grand Mirage resort. It's supposed to open later this year and will contain restaurants, cafes, a grocery store, etc. With any luck, the grocery store will be good. And the area could use a few more restaurants.
