Thais In Libya

I have just watched a program about Thai Workers in Libia, They had to leave because What is happening there, the Program is On you tube its called Kon Kon kon. it was on Thai TV on March 22 and March 29. They obviously had to get out.The hardship they suffered was hart rendering, The Thai government had to arrange for Busses to take them to Tunisia where the caught Airplanes, again supplied by the Thai government, They traveled about 8 hours. in that time they had to stop at many cheakposts. They were robbed of most of there possessions, Police or Army went through there luggage and took Phones and what little money they had, and anything electronic off them, one man got off the bus to go to the toilet, a brave army solder ask a Thai man for his money and watch. the man refused so the solder set about him , he ran off and saw a Libian policeman, He approached the policeman expecting some help , all he got was a gun put to his head and the same treatment, He was robbed of his money phone and jewelry ,They went four days without food, and when they got food at a hotel, again payed for by the Thai government , they where told they had to buy Water, Most of the workers if not all, where not payed there wages , The company they worked for kept telling the workers," We will pay you next month" ,Which never happened and will never happen now. On arriving back in Thailand the Thai government gave the men about 2000 of them, 1500baht each to get home, The incident does not stop there ,Most have borrowed money to get to Libia so that they can earn some money and give there family's a better standard of living and life.,Some stand to lose there land and houses because they have borrowed money against it to go to Libia. We tend to Think of Thai people being hard but these men i saw cried like every other men because they had lost every thing, Not through there own fault. Also they want there money back from the Thai agency company, who supplied them the jobs which they had to pay a fee, because they have never been paid , I hope there Buddha takes care of them because they deserve a little credit, my best wishes go out to them.
