Hedge Cutting Machines

Featured Replies

I have a very large hedge that needs twice monthly trimming. I have had several local/burmese folks do it but I am never satisfied with their results. I am thinking about getting one of the electric cutters currently on sale at Homepro. Has anyone out there had experience with the electric ones? I tried a gas powered one and it was good but spendy. Any comments are welcome....

Never tried to use one here (married) but I used one in Italy a few years ago and it was OK.

I don't like dragging a long cord around. But it cut fine.

i find waxing more effective and longer lasting, particularly while maintaing italian hedges.

You may be confusing hedges with bushes. Same same only different.

OP. You need the gas operated one. Forget the electrical thing. Won't work. :)

Gotta stop eating dinner.....

:whistling: I have a gas powered hedge trimmer I brought from the US, never used it, will sell cheap if your interrested.

Don't know what kind of hedge you have and how thick the branches are, but I've used an electric hedge cutter on a privet hedge before, and it does the job well.
