Hi,

I will be flying to Europe once again with my family (my wife and my 2 years old daughter) next month and I have a serious doubt.

I have a return ticket with Thai airways but for my wife and my daughter will cost me an extra 100k from here (???) as my daughter will pay for the first time ever al almost full price.

Therefore I was thinking to fly with separate flights as I found for my wife and my daughter a great deal with Egyptair (total cost is 45k less then half I would pay with Thai airways) and we will arrive at the same time (I will be there few hours in advance so that I can wait her in case of any problems).

We already fled with them in the past so my wife is pretty familiar with Cairo airport for the stop over (even though never since the recent troubles) and with flights in general as we been flying to Europe often in the last few years.

I absolutely don't want to speculate on my family safety but the price difference (over 50k) is huge for my pockets.

An alternative could be for me to get the same flight and go with them (total should be around 70k) still much cheaper then flying with Thai air but little will change if not that i would be more relief in case of any flights delay.

Any suggestion or advice is welcome,

Thanks in advance

Furthermore in case of deciding to return to Bangkok on a different date I wouldn't mind (paying such a cheap amount) not to use the return tickets and get a much more convenient ticket for them from Europe, so that we can start buying tickets from Europe rather then in Thailand where are much more expensive in the future.

In which case do you know if a reservation ticket can be enough for them to show in the case they will questioning about her flying to Europe with just a one way ticket?
