OriginalPoster
Yes, a UK citizen only needs to submit an immigration card at the SIN airport and present his passport. Last I knew it was 30 days that you get that way. Edited May 4, 2011 by OriginalPoster

theoldgit
A UK national actually gets a 90 day visit pass on arrival. The Singapore authorities do say that you must have 6 months left on your passport as well as an onward or return ticket. I'm too slow, beaten by a Scouse - OMG. I have never been asked to show a ticket, when presenting my UK passport, though that may be the letter of the law.
theoldgit
I have never been asked to show a ticket, when presenting my UK passport, though that may be the letter of the law. It is their requirement, but it would normally be checked by the carrier bringing you into Singapore.
astral
I have crossed the causeway as well, by private car and taxi, and never had a problem. Certainly no return ticket involved or checked.
