Where To Get Certified Teaching English

Many places offer certification for teaching English in schools. But where is the best and most affordable institute in Chiangmai?

At a TEFL place in Phuket you can get it in one week for 14000Baht.

What do you mean by a certification to teach? Do you mean a TEFL or do you mean the Government teaching certificate?

I assume you mean TEFL (CELTA etc) : 14k! you can get one in Kaosan Rd for a lot less - just think how much experience of teaching and how much knowledge of your subject (English) you will glean in a week!

Most proper TEFL courses are 4 weeks (120 Hrs) classroom work, plus homework/prep (add another 20-40 hrs) , and include around 6 hours of teaching experience. Have a look a SEETEFL (I think they are still sponsors).
