There's an electrical issue slowly developing into a nightmare on my PJS. It started a while ago when I noticed that the headlights went out as soon as I engaged the indicator (either way). This is no fun when it's pitch black and you're driving at 120km/h...

The disease soon spread to the brakes, so when I engage the brakes the headlights and the interior lights (dashboard etc.) goes black. If I switch on the fog lights I get exactly the same problem. If I use the control and first switch the headlights off and then on again the headlights lite up until I brake next time..

Had the car at Mitsubishi this afternoon and they cant find anything wrong.:annoyed:

Anyone experienced anything similar?

It sounds like an earthing problem, otherwise to the steering colunm cluster switches, main fuse box, even a bulk head plug fitting, also if you wash your truck often or there has been heavy rain lately, perhaps water has got into some fitting somewhere, unplug a few main componets and look for green mold on contacts,,
