Looking For Social Groups

Featured Replies

One of my friends is an English expat in Bangkok who has never visited this website. He has been here a while and is very bored with consequent negativity, so I was wondering if anyone could suggest some social groups apart from the sub-forums on Thaivisa entitled "The Soccer and Football Forum" and "Sports, Hobbies and Activities".....Though I shall of course recommend these to him. His stated interests are reading, football and fishing, though I'm sure he will discover more if pressed. Any suggestions, anyone ?

If your friend is suffering from "negativity" now, I shudder to think how he will feel once he starts to read some of the stuff posted here on TV.

All too a common trait.....

Let's see if I understand the OP correctly... Anyone wanna hang out with my friend? He's bored, miserable, lonely and negative... Hmmmm... No!

I'd recommend the General forum; anyone can find somebody to look down on and feel sorry for here, no matter how depressed negative he was feeling when he started.

A few of us really put some effort in there...

There are a few social clubs on Soi Cowboy or around Soi 7 where its quite easy to make friends...
