Indonesian police kill two suspected terrorists

JAKARTA (BNO NEWS) -- Indonesia's counterterrorism police killed two suspected terrorists early Saturday during a raid in Central Java province, the Jakarta Post reported.

One resident believed to be a food stall waiter died when struck by a stray bullet from the shootout between the police and the suspects in Sukoharjo district. Central Java Police chief Insp. Gen. Edward Aritonang claimed that the bullet that killed the food stall waiter came from the suspects.

The suspects were identified as Sigit Qordowi and Hendro Yunianto. Police seized six firearms, books and two bags containing pellets and bolts.
