Pepper Spray incident at North Pattaya Hotel

PATTAYA: -- An odor of gas prompted a full-scale alert by the authorities early on Saturday Morning. The Pattaya Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Unit were informed by Police who had been contacted by receptionists at the Hong Residence Hotel in Soi 4 off Pattaya Beach Road. Authorities arrived at the Hotel and determined the smell was coming from the 3rd floor and more specifically room number 301 which is occupied by a foreign tourist and his Thai Girlfriend.

I think the correct way to say the Thai sounding word is

Pla-La or fermented fish ปลาล้า (?)

a yum yum for most Thai.... if my guess is correct.... enjoy.... :D

^ Actually it should be pronounced "blah rah" – and it's spelt: ปลาร้า

However many Thais are lazy when it comes to pronouncing the r sound.

I've smelt it, but not tasted it...
